As part of the celebrations of its 175th anniversary, the University of Winchester is offering a second round of PhD studentships for Home/EU students.

To celebrate its 175th Anniversary, and in addition to the 10 fully funded PhD studentships commencing in September 2015,  the University of Winchester is offering to Home and EU students a further 5 full-time fully funded (stipend + fees) PhD studentships commencing December 2015. The stipend for 2015-16 is £14,057.  There are also 5 fees-only studentships available. All of the studentships are for up to three years.

The University of Winchester are seeking talented, enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals to become part of our expanding and vibrant postgraduate research community. We are investing significant funding in a wide portfolio of disciplines within the Faculties of Art; Humanities and Social Sciences; Education, Health and Social Care; Business, Law and Sport.

Applicants are expected to have a track record of high academic achievement, relevant to the discipline being applied to, demonstrated by a first class or upper second undergraduate Honours degree and/or a Master’s degree (or equivalent) and supported by two academic references.
