A full and practical day for anyone interested in the developing field of somatic practices, this series of talks, workshops and performances promises to be the start of something exciting.

Our aim is to bring together a range of professionals working in the field of somatic practices and arts-making to explore and deepen connections and possibilities. We aim to cater for a wide range of interests in order to be as inclusive as possible.

The event will suit those who want to find out more about or have a first introduction to forms such as Authentic Movement, Body Mind Centering, Halprin’s Life Art Process, Dance Movement Psychotherapy, Integrative Bodywork and Movement Therapy and more.

It will also cater to those who want to meet with other professionals in the field to explore new research possibilities, and be an opportunity to see performances and hear artists speak about making work using these exciting and restorative practices.

This is a day to deepen our knowledge and practice of this rapidly developing field and its relationship to the arts and therapeutic communities.
