The University of Chichester today announced that they have been awarded research degree awarding powers by the Privy Council. GuildHE and CREST join together in congratulating the University and all of the staff and students who have contributed to the development of such an excellent research culture over the years.

Dr Andy Dixon, Director of Research at the University (and Director of CREST) said of the achievement:

‘I am personally delighted for the University, its staff and research students.  This recognition of our maturity as an institution and the quality of our research is a testament to the hard work and creativity of my colleagues.  Smaller institutions provide a unique experience for their PhD students that is directly comparable to the larger institutions in our broad HE community; something that the rigorous RDAP process has validated.’
