The University of Winchester invites CREST members and colleagues to an inaugural lecture by Inga Bryden, Professor of Cultural History. The lecture will investigate the extent to which the urban landscape can be understood in terms of an everyday materiality and, in turn, a more embodied sense of dwelling in space and place. It will consider a variety of artistic interventions in urban space, including graffiti, street art, walking and sculpture.
