The National Coordinating Centre for Public Engagement (NCCPE) are leading a free workshop for London HEIs to develop visions for the future of the engaged university in 2025. This interactive, creative session will provide an opportunity to explore how universities might engage with society in the future.

Part of the Engaged Futures Consultation this workshop will:

  • explore preferred futures for the engaged university and examine the changing context
  • discuss and explore pathways to that vision including new partnerships and social innovations
  • generate valuable new ideas and contacts to support engaged universities in the future

We are keen to encourage university staff, students and university partners to come and share their thoughts about how they would like to see universities engaging with society, and what the needs and opportunities are for public engagement in the future. You can view a range of short films to see how others are thinking about possible futures here.

If you are a community partner; charity; NGO; cultural organisation or work in partnership with a university in any capacity, we are keen to hear your views. We have bursaries available to support partners to participate in the workshop. Please contact Lisa Adlington at the NCCPE if you would like to apply for a bursary.Lisa.adlington@uwe.ac.uk
