Focusing on design-led research skills, knowledge and understanding with cross-disciplinary applicability this one day workshop, part of a series of AHRC-funded events comprising the Design as Human Interface series, will incorporate creative economy leadership training for postgraduate students, Doctoral students and early-career researchers at UCA, NUCA and CREST institutions. Workshop 4 will examine:

Access to, and use of, primary sources (practitioners, agencies, studios, creative businesses and industry organisations)

Capturing, collating, ordering, analysing and interpreting primary data

Understanding of respective processes and practices

Engaging non-academic communities

Utilising technical equipment and technological facilities in research
