The University of Winchester will be holding its annual Research and Engagement Week later this month (26 April to 3 May) comprising of an exciting line-up of exhibitions, lectures and events taking place on campus and across the region.

Research Week 2013 runs from Friday 26 April to Friday 3 May and is designed to focus on the rich diversity of research currently being carried out at the University, both by academic staff and research students.

The week will include the annual Research and Knowledge Exchange (RKE) Symposium on Monday 29 April from 9.00-5.00pm at the University’s West Downs Centre in Romsey Road, Winchester.

Set up in the form of a mini-conference, the event will feature papers by leading academics on a wide range of multi-disciplinary topics. Subjects include a history of the English Language in 100 places; best practices in market research software design; foreign direct investment within the mining sector in Argentina; a study of leadership in family firms; and a new approach towards female stress and coping.
