Policy Manager – Skills, Innovation, and International

Dana leads GuildHE’s programme of work for skills, innovation, place and international policy. 

She covers our advocacy for skills issues across all GuildHE disciplines, including the public workforce, creative industries and health and social care. Innovation includes supporting members’ knowledge exchange activity and funding, commercialisation and public engagement. Place-based policy covers devolution, engagement with local authorities and regional strategic planning related to higher education’s role in economic, social and cultural growth. Finally, GuildHE’s international programme supports members’ needs relating to immigration, visas, transnational education, student/staff mobility and student experience. 

Dana previously worked for Universities UK working on research-related policy for research culture and practice. She has also previously worked as a knowledge exchange and innovation professional at the University of the Arts, London.
