Do you want to develop new communication skills?

Do you want to get better at talking about your research with wide and diverse audiences?

If so, the GuildHE Research Communication Workshop is for you!

About the programme

Join us for a day long interactive workshop that provides participants with new skills that they can use when talking about their research with a variety of audiences. This workshop features speakers from a range of different organisations and research backgrounds and a hands-on practical session run in parallel.

Practical session: ‘Interview with a journalist’

Sue Littlemore, who has twenty years’ experience as a BBC broadcaster and education specialist, will lead this highly practical session that will enable participants to accomplish confident and successful broadcast interviews. It will address how to present research to a public or non-specialists audience.

How to sign up

Places on the workshop are limited to 18 and are free for PhD Students or Early Stage Researchers from GuildHE Research member institutions to attend.
